TechTalk Chosen as a Top Technology Website of 2008!

This week's January 26th edition of Information Week selected Dave and I as one of the Top (Lesser-Known) Technology Websites of 2008! We're described as a "slightly brainier" couple of fellas, which makes me wonder if they've ever actually listened to a full show :)

Here's what they had to say (we're on page 5 of the article if you're looking):
33. TechTalk on WRLR 98.3 FM
A weekly radio program (also available on the web) hosted by Michael Kastler and Dave Saganaki, both of whom take a slightly brainier approach to the usual tech-talk-radio format. I learned about the entirely-too-useful (34.) Crossloop courtesy of TechTalk, which all by itself would qualify them for some kind of kudos. That said, other guests and topics profiled recently include details on OpenDNS services, Craig Newmark of Craigslist.com -- but there's also plenty of coverage of fairly conventional topics likeMicrosoft (NSDQ: MSFT), video gaming and the creators of services such as Skype and ClearPlay.

TechTalk on TV!

Now there's a new way to catch Mike and Dave on Saturday mornings - watch us on TV! Go to http://www.wrlr.fm/tv.html whenever we're broadcasting and catch us in the studio hanging out.

If you've ever wondered what 'Studio A' looks like, or had the desire to call Mike and ask "what are you wearing" - well, then this TV's for you!

TechTalk on Paper!

This last Sunday, Nov. 11th, yours truly was mentioned in the Chicago Sun-Times by regular columnist and longtime pal of the TechTalk Show, Esther Cepeda! Click HERE to read the article in it's entirety online. Shouts out to Esther - thanks for the exposure!

Here's a little taste of what we had to say:
Michael Kastler, host of a weekly technology podcast called TechTalk and director of information systems for a Rosemont-based company, told me, ''If you don't own an iPod but have any MP3 player, there are lots of podcast collector software programs out there that help you gather them all and keep them current to be downloaded onto anything you want -- your desktop, MP3 player and, in some cases, your phone. I have my computer stream mine to my Wii and listen throughout my house.''
